Commercial litigation lawyer France

By a judgment dated September 22, 2026, the Commercial Court of Angoulême ruled in favour of the winegrowers, declaring the contractual terminations ineffective and ordering the French subsidiary of the US-based Sazerac Company to honour its contractual obligations for up to seven years, depending on the contracts concerned.

The proceedings, initiated and led by our firm in coordination with the General Union of Cognac Winegrowers (UGVC), resulted in a significant ruling concerning the enforcement of long-term contractual obligations in the agricultural sector.
